If they miss you, they’ll call. If they want you, they’ll say it. If they care, they’ll show it. And if not, they aren’t worth your time.

He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong.

You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection

I am on my own, but I am not meant to be. My dreams are mine but they aren’t meant to be attained alone. I need someone holding the net for me in case I fall off the ladder, someone to iodine my cuts, supply me with band-aids, and tell me to get up again. I need others and you need others.
You need someone to help you organize your pile of papers, your drafts and stream of consciousness ideas; someone to help you make sense of your mess. Someone to push you on the path you should be on. Someone to push you, encourage you, and warn you of the dead end paths. Your dreams are your own but Bernini didn’t create the Pizza leading to St. Peters all on his very own, he had a team of people that understood and believed in his creation, to help assemble his dream work.
Your dreams are yours but God knows you can’t hold all the possibilities in your own two hands. You will reap from your harvest but you won’t be the only one, those who watch your dreams unfold and come to be will reap too. Whether it be inspiration or more, who knows. Your dreams are your dreams but they aren’t just your own. You are a star, you will shine, but you need the cosmos and you need the night sky.
